Frequently Asked Questions

Where is your YouTube channel?2020-02-10T23:12:19+00:00
Are you going to make more Aries Kitchen Series knives?2020-02-10T23:12:45+00:00

I don’t have any plans on making any more right now. It was a fun project but right now I have other projects I want to get to (unless if Julien wants something ridiculous, like a kitchen axe, or maybe a dedicated veggie cleaver).

What are you working on?2020-02-10T23:14:28+00:00

There’s a lot I’m working on. First and foremost is keep making knives – I’m planning on making the craziest projects I can, but on the other spectrum, also keep making progress on more affordable knives.

Other things I’m working on are the YouTube channel. The YouTube channel will be enjoyable, honest videos about me and the craft; it’ll feature build progresses, tutorials, and general life vlogs on what goes on in the background. I try to have a video out every 2-3 weeks, but sometimes it might deviate due to workload and schedule (Sam and I are doing the videos as a part time job basically).

When are you going to make a sword?2019-06-16T21:51:47+00:00

A long, long time from now.

When are you making folders?2019-06-16T21:51:33+00:00

A long, long time from now.

Where do you live?2019-06-16T21:50:57+00:00

In the middle of nowhere in Tucson, AZ.

How do I buy a knife?2019-10-23T00:21:13+00:00

I don’t do custom orders. Most of my knives I make and then sell through my NEWSLETTER on a first-come-first-serve basis. Pricing depends on the build, design, and materials but my usual work is around $2000. More involved projects can reflect several months of work and are priced anywhere from $5000 to $7000 or higher.

While I don’t do the official orders, I do note requests, and if there is an idea that really interests me I’ll take on the project.

When do you post on your newsletter?2019-07-21T19:13:32+00:00

My newsletter will generally go up on Wednesday or Friday mornings at 9am AZ time. Occasionally there may be an exception for an announcement or available knife depending on the schedule.

How much are your knives?2019-10-23T00:19:44+00:00

It depends on the design, build, and materials. My usual knives are around $2000, but some projects reflect months of work and can be where from $5000-7000 or higher.
